Things haven't gone as smooth as I hoped. I signed up to do this this year becasue I was between books.
Life has been interfering big time. My mom is having gall bladder surgery tomorrow morning, that's taken some time that I had planned to use for writing.
The surgery involved trips to the doctor, meeting with the surgeon, and then becasue surgery happened so quicky, all the tests and so forth before the actual procedure.
I haven't given up. I'm at a little over 12,000 words.
So we will see how things go next week.
