NaNoWriMo ( National Novel Wrtitng Month)

I've never attempted this before, but I am jumping in to give it a go. For those who are not aware of it, NaNoWriMo happens throughout the month of November. Participants' goals are to write a 50,000 word novel in amonth.

National Novel Writers Month has been around for a long time.  Every year I've thought about joiming, but the idea is intimadating.  I'm betweem books right now, so why not?

Here's a link for you to find out more about it.

I've also started a sponsor page for myself.  NaNoWriMo is free. I'm raising money to help the nonprofit that runs it build communities in classrooms, coffee shops, libraries, and living rooms all over the world and help the inspiration flow for me and thousands of my fellow novelists.

Every dollar I raise will keep my spirits high as I write my way towards the realization of my creative goals. More importantly, your contribution will help The Office of Letters and Light build a more engaged and inspiring world.Below is the link to my sponsor page if you would like to donate.

Wish me luck!

  1. I think I'll try nanowritemo this year . . . . congratulations on your publications, especially the ones that benefit charities. Those are so rewarding. Can't think of more important causes than cancer research or literacy, which are both dear to my heart.
